How did Maleena - natural cosmetics made from fermented raspberries - come about?
My story: from experimenting with perfumes to cosmetics
Sometime in the late 1980s, at a time when people traveled to the seaside in cars without air conditioning at three in the morning, a little girl took all her mother's perfumes, mixed them together, and decided that her mixture, which she was convinced was a new molecule, would be called Glycerol. That little girl is me, Lana Vitas – a master of pharmacy and perfume destroyer, and my mom is still not happy about that event to this day.
And while I used to (accidentally) destroy cosmetics, today I make them - and only from the best natural ingredients, including fermented raspberry that promotes natural skin regeneration. For years I wondered how to use mine pharmaceutical knowledge and experience for the production of natural, clean cosmetics that bring the maximum potential of plants with proven effectiveness.

That's how Maleena's natural cosmetics made from fermented raspberries were created, inspired by my love of plants. It was my curiosity about nature that led me towards simple living and 'slow aging' principles, a natural approach to aging that emphasizes health and inner beauty.
I strive for a life where every moment is conscious and present – I try to spend my mornings in light meditation and a skincare ritual, while I round out my day with walks in nature. I choose foods that nourish my body and skin, and practice small relaxation rituals, because I believe that beauty starts from within.
