Q&A – Frequently asked questions about Maleena cosmetics
1. What types of payment do you offer?
Payment is possible by card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Revolut Pay, cash on delivery and bank transfer (except for pre-orders).
2. What types of delivery do you have?
We deliver via GLS courier service in Croatia and the region. Free delivery from Boxnow in Croatia is also possible.
3. How long does delivery take?
- Croatia: 2–3 business days
- Islands: 5–7 business days
- EU: 8–10 business days
4. What does pre-order mean?
Pre-ordering means you reserve your product before the new batch is made. Maleena is produced in small, fresh batches, so pre-ordering ensures that you will definitely receive your copy as soon as it is ready.
5. Why do you do pre-orders?
In order to preserve product freshness and avoid excessive production. In this way, the products are produced in small batches and are in your hands almost immediately after production.
6. Can your products be used by people allergic to nickel?
The nickel content is below 1 mg/kg, which is in line with EU regulations and a safe threshold for people with allergies.
7. Can I use Maleena products during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes, the products are safe and suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
8. Are the products suitable for mature skin (50+)?
Yes, the serum and eye cream are formulated to help with dryness, dullness, and signs of aging.
9. How is the serum used – alone or with a cream?
The serum is applied after cleansing and before the cream. You can also use it on its own if you like the texture.
10. When is it best to use serum and cream – in the morning or at night?
For maximum effect, we recommend using them both in the morning and evening. Always in the morning in combination with sun protection (SPF). If it's easier for you to fit them into your routine, you can also use them only in the evening.
11. Can I use Maleena products under makeup and primer?
Yes, the serum and cream absorb well and make a good base for makeup.
12. Do you have plans for a men's line?
Our products are unisex – they can be used by both men and women.
13. Do you have any saws?
We don't have a tester at the moment, but we are considering that option because we know how important it is for sensitive skin.
14. Where can your products be purchased?
The products are available through our web shop and selected partners, which you can find on our website.
15. When will the serum be available again?
If it is marked as sold out on the web shop, a new batch is being made. For pre-orders, the delivery date is clearly indicated (e.g. by 20.10.).
16. Does serum help with enlarged pores?
Yes, thanks to niacinamide, it helps regulate sebum and visually reduces pores.
17. Are cosmetics suitable for rosacea?
Our products are formulated without irritants and hormone disruptors. They may be suitable for milder forms of rosacea, but we advise testing on a smaller area of the skin.
18. Can serum help with oily skin prone to acne and hyperpigmentation?
Yes, the serum with niacinamide and antioxidants helps regulate sebum, reduce inflammation and alleviate hyperpigmentation.
19. Do you have products in BiH and Serbia?
We currently deliver to Croatia and the EU, and we are working on the possibility of delivering to other countries in the region.
20. Are you planning any new products?
Yes! We are currently testing a new cream that will soon go into trials.
21. Should I use SPF with serum in the morning?
Yes, we always recommend using the serum in the morning in combination with sun protection (SPF) so that the ingredients work optimally and the skin is protected.
22. Are cosmetics suitable for more mature skin?
Maleena is formulated to suit even more mature skin. Powerful active ingredients (such as fermented raspberry, sunflower germ extract, hyaluronic acid) target dryness, loss of elasticity, skin fatigue and visible lines. The textures are light but extremely nourishing, which is ideal for skin that requires more support as it ages.
