A Day I Will Remember: Recognition for Maleena and the Journey That Led to It

Yesterday was a very emotional day for me, one of those days you remember.

A year and a half ago, I introduced Maleena to the market, my clean beauty brand based on fermented raspberry. And yesterday, I received a county recognition award for my work on Maleena. For all the hours spent creating, researching and believing in something that was once only an idea, and today is a reality.

The morning began with a special kind of excitement, but when I stood there, at the award ceremony, and everything became real, I was completely overwhelmed with emotion.

In that moment, all the beginnings passed through me, all the uncertainty, and there truly was a lot of it. All the attempts, all the difficult moments and all the small victories almost no one saw.

I felt immense gratitude and pride. But also a quiet, deep certainty that I am on my path.

Maleena did not happen by chance. From the very beginning, I knew I could not create cosmetics I did not truly believe in. I wanted it to be exceptional in its composition, in the feeling it gives and in the values it carries.

I remember the moment I applied for a project that required me to develop cosmetics in a lower price range. That was when I clearly realized that I simply could not create something I could not stand behind completely. I could not accept compromises that would damage what I wanted Maleena to be.

I carefully chose every ingredient in Maleena. Behind each one there is thought, research and a desire to offer the very best: ingredients supported by studies and formulations free from hormone disruptors. One of the biggest challenges was the fragrance, because even there, I did not want to settle for a choice that did not meet my standards and values.

Perhaps that is exactly why this recognition means so much to me, because I do not see it only as an award for business success, but as confirmation that it is worth staying true to yourself. That it is worth building slowly, carefully and honestly, and trusting your intuition even when the path is not simple.

From the beginning, Maleena has had one clear mission: to create a skincare experience that goes beyond the products themselves. I want every moment of care to become a small, calming ritual of devotion to yourself.

I believe that these small rituals are the key to inner balance and harmony, whether it is a quiet morning matcha, a few mindful minutes in front of the mirror or an evening skincare moment when we slow down for a while and return to ourselves.
